my name is zahirah im 27 i live in South Africa i live with my DH and 3 yr old DS.

id like to call myself an artist i love anything arts related. I never had any formal training or degrees (lol) in anything that iv done, be it oil painting or stained glass mosaic and def not my cupcakes.

my love affair with cupcakes started when i was doing some research on cupcakes for some paintings,and i found the amazing world of cupcakes!

believe me i hate the kitchen my hubby and son are happy to live on cupcakes lol but its the decorating part which iv fell in love with.

my Family has encouraged me to start a business which i called it cupcake D'lights (a stoopid name i know but always meant to change it but most of the names i love are gone) i dont do the baking as it takes too much time and i need to spend as much time with my son, so i outsource my baking and do all the decorating mainly at night! its quiet, peaceful and my fav time to create i make everything by hand and everything is edible, also we try and make everything as yummilicious as possible!

again many people have asked iv never had any training in this field but i guess my love for working with tiny items and my artistic background has helped. i have many friends that inspire me as well.

an off shoot from my cupcakes was my photography which has become a passion. iv recently asked a sweet photographer to guide me a little and so i now have a vague idea on how my camera works lol!
i would love to do a book one day and take my own pictures so if ure interested then say a lil prayer for me

i don't come on here too often as my days are filled with my family and my business so if uv emailed and iv not responded im sorry!
